Solar purlin profiles are aluminium sections used in photovoltaic mounting structures to support panel layouts and transfer loads towards connection points. Different sections are assessed against the project spans, supports and mounting arrangement.<\/p>

Applications and Technical Selection<\/h2>

A purlin connects the panel layout to the supporting structure. Loads pass through clamps and connections into the structural system. Section geometry, support positions and joint details determine this load path, so profile selection must follow the panel layout and structural design.<\/p>

Roof mounted and ground mounted installations can have different supporting arrangements. Roof fixing points, panel rows, inclination and available spans influence the profile layout.
